Dr. Rodrigo D’Amen will benefit Aviagen customer service with breadth of breeder management knowledge and experience
Buenos Aires, Argentina – Aviagen® Latin America is pleased to announce that Dr. Rodrigo D’Amen has been appointed as the new Technical Service Manager for South America, excluding Brazil (SAEB). Based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, D’Amen will work together with a team of Technical Service Managers to provide excellent service to customers throughout the region. Beginning today, he will report directly to Aviagen Latin America Regional Technical Manager José Bruzual.
D’Amen’s appointment is part of Aviagen’s strategy to heighten its customer support in the region. He brings to Aviagen a breadth of knowledge and experience. He graduated as Veterinarian from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) in 2007 and in 2010 obtained a post-graduate degree in Poultry Science from the University of Lujan in Buenos Aires. While at UBA, he served as technical assistant for animal production at UBA’s Faculty of Veterinary Science and completed a one-year internship in bacteriology.
In 2005 he joined the Argentinian poultry producer Rasic Group, known today as Cresta Roja, where he gained years of experience managing Ross parent stock, as well as controlling the health and quality of poultry breeding stock.
D’Amen attended the Aviagen Production Management School in 2015 and graduated as a top achiever. He has also continued to further his education in avian pathology, avian production and bacteriology.

D’Amen will complete an induction program before taking on his direct responsibilities with customers.
