Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil – Aviagen®, the global leader in poultry genetics, hosted valued Ross® and Arbor Acres® grandparent (GP) and parent stock (PS) customers and distributors from Latin America at concurrent events this week in Atlanta, Ga., U.S.
Aviagen Latin America Association (ALAA) took place March 19-20 and Aviagen Training Conference - Latin America (ATC-LA) followed on March 20-24. Both events took place at the Marriott Buckhead Hotel and Conference Center.
Represented at the combined events were more than 55 different Latin American companies from a mix of Latin American countries, including Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Venezuela, Brazil, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, Honduras, Chile, Ecuador, Bolivia, Paraguay and Dominican Republic.
ALAA and ATC-LA guests profit from broad industry expertise
Approximately 80 guests benefited from a broad level of expertise offered by nutritionists, geneticists, incubation specialists and other poultry business and production specialists representing Aviagen, local universities and the poultry industry.
Topics focused on best management practices to achieve maximum production efficiency and productivity with Ross and Arbor Acres GP and PS birds, while at the same time optimizing health, welfare and biosecurity. The speakers also addressed current and future trends for managing a successful poultry business and the importance of good nutrition to reproductive quality and poultry health. Question and answer segments during both meetings stimulated important discussions and feedback from audience members.
Opportunity to strengthen important relationships, promote customer success
