Seminar in Quito offers latest flock management trends for maximizing broiler and breeder success
CAMPINAS, Sao Paulo, Brazil. – Getting the most from Aviagen® Ross 308® AP broiler breeding stock was the topic of discussion at the Aviagen Seminar in Ecuador on Aug. 25. Taking place at the Amevea Building in Quito, the seminar welcomed 35 local poultry industry professionals.
Top Aviagen experts in poultry health and nutrition shared the latest flock management advice for optimizing the genetic potential of Ross 308 AP broiler breeding stock. Among the presenters were Technical Services Managers for South America, excluding Brazil (SAEB) Rodrigo D’Amen (pictured) and Pablo Schnettler; Regional Technical Manager for Latin America Dr. Jose Bruzual; and Nutritionist for North and Latin America Sandro Cerrate. The speakers addressed critical subjects such as male and female parent stock management, broiler management, egg management and poultry nutrition.
Driving growth in up and coming Latin American region
The Ross 308 AP bird has enjoyed a recent surge in popularity throughout Ecuador among both broiler and breeder customers due to its exceptional performance, favorable feed efficiency and strong growth rate. For this reason Aviagen has intensified its focus in the region, recently assigning D’Amen as technical services manager responsible for Ecuador, and Jairo Agostini as sales manager.
