Advice provided to Pif Paf and Rivelli poultry meat producers promote broiler performance, biosecurity and business success
CAMPINAS, Brazil – Aviagen®, the world’s foremost broiler breeding company, recently hosted informative flock management seminars for two important Ross® 308 AP (previously known as AP95) customers in Brazil. Both seminars provided critical broiler management insight, as well as an update on Ross 308 AP broiler performance.
Pif Paf seminar stresses lighting and ventilation impact on broiler health
On Nov. 13, Aviagen welcomed 15 guests from Pif Paf Alimentos, one of the largest food producers in Brazil with operations in Goiás and Minas Gerais states, to a seminar in Visconde do Rio Branco, Minas Gerais.
Because of the extreme importance of lighting and ventilation to broiler health and performance, the key topics on the agenda were “ventilation for the summer period” and “lighting management,” both presented by Aviagen broiler expert Dr. Rodrigo Tedesco, Aviagen regional technical services supervisor.
Rivelli seminar emphasizes performance, biosecurity and market outlook
Next up was a meeting on Nov. 14 with 30 guests from Rivelli, a poultry processing company in Barbacena, Minas Gerais state. The Rivelli seminar emphasized ventilation management, as well as methods to maximize both biosecurity and Ross 308 AP productivity. It also offered an overview of trends and opportunities in the Brazilian broiler market.
Brazil is currently a very dynamic market on the global poultry production scene, and the Ross 308 AP continues to grow in market share.
“Meeting with valued customers such as Pif Paf and Rivelli is an important way that Aviagen can deepen our relationships, as we solidify customer success by helping them optimize Ross 308 AP broiler performance through skillful stockmanship practices,” says Jairo Agostini, sales manager for Aviagen in Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Bolivia and Ecuador.
